Ready are you? What know you of ready? For eight hundred years have I trained Jedi. My own council will I keep on who is to be trained. A Jedi must have the deepest commitment, the most serious mind. This one a long time have I watched. All his life has he looked away... to the future, to the horizon. Never his mind on where he was. Hmm? What he was doing. Hmph. Adventure. Heh. Excitement. Heh. A Jedi craves not these things. You are reckless.” -Yoda

Set up an appointment? I remember reading about urk or other Bungie employees saying that you can not just show up without an appointment.

How can I set up this kind of thing? Just being in the lobby would be great.

I think Jerome has to buzz you in so by the time he sees you through the clear glass windows of the door he's ready to take you out.

I honestly don't know. In fact, I don't even think an appointment has ever actually been set up before. Maybe you should message a Bungie employee about this?

An appointment definitely has been set up because Foman's been inside and he's said that he would "never" go into Bungie studios unannounced without an appointment.

How about that? Good to know, thanks.

No way! I like the hype. My point is that, what kind of Bungie and I mean real bungie fan that stayed after halo, wouldn't want to go to Bungie studios?

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Bungie is a place of business, not a tourist destination.

It is not a museum, it is an office. Why would you be able to set up appointments for visit?

I don't imagine you can "barge in gun-a-blazing" into any office or residence....seems kinda homicidal?

Get a job there, that's the best way...although based on your original strategy I don't think you will pass the psych exam.

Anyone but Foman. He smells like cheese.

Don't want to stomp on your hopes, man, but I don't think you can just call and set up a time to come in and look around. From what I've seen, it doesn't work that way.

What I said before is that I would never just show up without an invitation, not an appointment.

Now with that said, fans have occasionally had luck when they just show up, and sometimes a kindly employee will stop and say hi or even invite them into the lobby. But for every one story like that over the years, there are many from fans who were not allowed in the door, so I would not count on that.

These kinds of posts happen pretty frequently here, and in these threads, someone always mentions what I think is good advice: try to put yourself in their shoes. Remember that Bungie is a place where regular dudes go to work. You wouldn't want people hanging around outside your office and taking your picture, asking for "office tours," asking questions about confidential projects that you are working on, and trying to peek into the building when you open the door. It's uncomfortable and weird for them, and as a Bungie fan, you shouldn't want to put them in that situation.

The better course of action is to attend events like PAX, where Bungie employees can, if they choose, come out and talk to fans in an atmosphere where they already know to expect fans, questions, and photo opportunities. It's much more comfortable for you and for them, and sometimes, fans who attend these events even end up getting invited by Bungie to special receptions or events held at Bungie's HQ. That's the better way to go about things, IMO.
