Most of us have Vanity, the Halo: Reach spartan model generator.
http://veegie.com/Vanity/

I recently checked the vanity page again, and it states the developer has been hired by Bungie!
First of all, congratz to him.

But, I also saw this.
1/1/2012 Update
In December I started working at Bungie as a Project Tools Designer.
Due to this change, I cannot offer an ETA for the release of 1.2 at this time.
I would like to thank everyone for their continued support of Vanity over the past year.

Damn!

I was really in anticipation for vanity 1.2!

I hope Bungie can give him a short break after he finishes the project he's working on, at least to give us an ETA of Vanity 1.2.

So... Anyone from Bungie here?

EDIT: Oops, 1.2 not 2.0

Hard is good.

Christ, next thing we know they'll be hiring that bungie.me guy onto the webteam.

Was Vanity the one people used before the player models started updating?

It's nice to here that the guy is at Bungie now.

No, vanity is something you can use to see all kinds of armor in HR, not just your current player model.

Ew, gross. That guy's a freak; he sent me pictures of his dog covered in butter. I didn't get it.

OT: I've never used this program before.

I know, but I mean people used it to generate their player model before they started updating them on here. Personally I never used the program, but I remember a lot of people did.

Oh... Well, in that case, you're correct.
You should try it out. It's kind of nice, actually.

Haha, he was just messing with Apoc and I thought I'd contribute. His username's ApocalypeX. He wrote Bungie.me with help from ElusiveEagle. He's made a few scripts, too.

I'm getting Vanity right now to play around with. Taking forever to decompress though.

Have fun with it, it's the only place where you even want to see knee guards since they're so expensive in-game and un-noticeable.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

That is cool.

Hello, I'm Mr AwesomePizza. I like pizza and I'm a man. Reasoning for the name. I like to listen to the classics of music, write poetry, play video games, and much much more. I'm always down for a nice chat, so please hit me up for some conversation.

Sounds like cool beans for that guy.
