Then they would blast the covies out of the galaxy. Isn't that the most logical decision?

The MJOLNIR armor moves so fast it actually breaks normal Marine's wrists and stuff and they spaz out inside and die.

It also weighs half a ton, so it would crush them.

Yep, this was explained in the books. This is why the spartans had to undergo much of their surgical upgrades...just to be able to wear the armor.

Plus, it weighs half a ton... I don't think a regular marine would really be able to tolerate that amount of weight...

Read the books. In "The Fall Of Reach" it said that they tried testing MJOLNIR armor on regular non-spartans and the result was serious injury. Your bones have to be extremely strong to withstand the movement of MJOLNIR.

IF you've read the books youd know why! besides the MJOLNIR armor weighs a ton (literally) not only that but the soldiers would move so fast that they'd break all their bones

Ok then why don't the UNSC just make more SPARTAN super soldiers?

Because the cost of life and monetary cost is too great. They're working on another "batch" if you will. But of the 70 or 80 that started only 12ish were functional.

That doesen't matter. EARTH is on the line! They should take 20,000 Kids and if 4 survive so be it. It may sound extreme but Its all for the survival of humanity

What I meant is that it takes a long time to find suitable subjects, train them, augment them, and then give them some field experience before they are ready. Do you realize that by Halo: CE, the Master Chief is about 41 years old. It takes a long time, and Earth is under attack now.

My numbers could be off, I haven't read the books in over a year. The gist of it is, a lot go in and a few come out.

Let me get this straight: your proposing they kill the vast majority of the children to preserve the future? Are you seeing any problems with this approach?

He watches every Hodgetwin video they put up...on ALL their channels. He calls them the Hodge Triplets, and considers himself the 3rd triplet. He's started talking and acting like them now. Every other line out of his mouth "Thaaas some BULLLLLL**** maaayne" or "Gotta make dem gainzzzz". He calls his biceps "gains". When he eats post-workout, he talks to his biceps, "Don't worry gains, I'm feeding you. Daddys gonna feed you, gainz *kisses biceps*".

To add to the former thoughts, they can only get almost-genetically perfect kids for the project. Others simply wouldn't hold up.

And for clarification, Spartans are taken at six and augmented at 14, meaning it takes eight years. That's a long time.

* The armor makes the user move so fast that the body can't take it and bones snap and crack.
* Think how expensive it would be...

The poster's original question shows that he doesn't even like to read a couple small books. Now you're asking him to think...give him a break.

MONEY MONEY MONEY! If the UNSC had the kinda money to by thousands of multy million dollar suits (which they dont) they wouldnt spend it on MJOLNIR suits cause they dont do much good against Covenant plasma torpedoes. If the UNSC had that much spending money they would create a fleet of moving SUPER MACs. It is in space where we humans get our butts kicked.

After my statement sum r saying "who cares about flippin money...were all gonna die...mula dont madda." Wrong...in 2 ways.

1. ONI and the UNSC have created the fallacy (a false notion or belief) that the UNSC is superior to the Covenant so a monumental course of action like nullifying money would cause panic and the down fall of humanity

2. The affects of nullifying money would basically win the war for the Covenant...because it would destroy the foundations of United Earth and her colonies from the inside. Lets just say Mr. Nelson wrks for a military contracting company. His compnay makes weapons for the UNSC like the Super MAC guns and the MJOLNIR suits. If that stuff becomes free he stops making money. If he doesnt make money he cant get food for his family unless the grocery store guy starts sellin for free. But then the grocery store guy cant feed his family and so on...

err hey here is an idear and i'm sorry if this has been mentioned before, but what if the unsc just gave all the normal soldiers shields like the chief? I mean sure it would be costly but why not give exceptional soldiers like Johnson shields that they would reduce casuilties and bost earth moral with the new shields
