Why get rid of something that does its job, and is free? Unless you need the space on your smart phone.

This thread would have appealed to me more if it was written with crayons.

I broke one of the cords for my X11s because I couldn't get past the final American course in Doritos Crash Course.

It probably served as a bit of practice working with mobile apps for their next game. Kinda like ODST was a practice run for Reach ;)

I dont have a phone that can access the internet, so I dont care.

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

I'm sure that they wlll start working on it when they are done with the more important stuff (like working on their new game).

Exactly, and for all we know they could be working on it as we speak. If I am not mistaken they have employees that are dedicated mobile developers, and if they aren't working on the app, what are they doing?

I've got it for my Droid and for some weird reason it will work perfectly fine whenever I'm using 3g or 4g, but the minute I'm on wifi I can't connect to anything.
But I still love it, especially how it alerts me if I have a PM.

Who doesn't love that warm feeling when you get a new PM coupled with the slight fear that you just got banned?

You imply a level of control over Halo: Reach matchmaking that we no longer have. Or, in your vernacular, it isn't our shiznit anymore.

Just like opening the door at 2am.

Bungie was just experimenting with the mobile app, can you imagine how awesome it would be if they updated the app to give us exclusive information on their next game?

Maybe it's already hidden in there? (My money's on the Destiny wallpaper.)

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

I don't think so. Although it won't serve much of a purpose after March 30th (apart from messaging and viewing friends list), in my opinion, it still had a good run. It still did its job, and I use it everyday when people are blowing up my inbox.

And even just getting messaging and friend lists up and running lays some groundwork for whatever their new IP will be. I'm sure that, in some form or another, those functions will carry over too.

I liked the ability to see which of my friends were online.

That's why I use it. I usually hop online only after seeing what friends are online from the app.

@Helveck

Just an Average Joe...

I never really bothered with the app. I prefer using the browser directly. Especially on the iPhone.
