UNSC stands for United Nations Space Command. So calling human ground forces on Earth UNSC personnel is totally incorrect. I think they should be called UECC (United Earth and Colonial Coalition) forces

Except that they're UNSC forces, they're a coalition of the human planets. That's why you get all the different accents from the Marines.

We do, this just isn't funny.

isnt is United Nations Space Core?

but whatever it is, it dont matter, its like saying the air force on the ground.... Its like the Army. There is Naval, RAF, air force and all that sorta stuff. Still makes them part of the Army though..

UNSC is just the overall name of the army.

And the UNSC forces were quickly crushing the rebellions. They needed more help, and the SPARTAN program started.

If you say, "United Earth and Colonial Coalition forces", then you are saying that all military personnel are controlled by civilian leaders. Which isn't quite true.

I have a rendezvous with death. At some disputed barricade.

UNSC = United Nations Space Core

Look at the navy.... They also do land missions and they have many Fighters.

You're wrong. UNSC is United Nations Space Command. Read about it here.

yes the UNSC did have a rebellion on there hands but they crushed it, the MJOLNIR program was designed for other uses, the Spartans only did one mission against the rebels and that was to capture the leader of the rebels, and thats when they didn't have their armour!. most people think that there was only the Master Chief, but infact there were 63 Spartans in total, half were lost in a training exercise and put into the Intelligence Corps. thats when the Spartans got there armour to fight the Covenant

Actually, the SPARTAN program was designed for containing the rebellions. When the Covenant came, however, they had a new misison. Read about the SPARTAN program here.
