The fires are burning, I'm fire, never tire
Slay warriors in the forests, and on hire

Nope.

Yes, there're too many numbers in my name.

Re-watch al the extras from the Halo 2 limited edition. That's what I do, and it always helps me pass the time.

It's a metaphor for the 07s' lack of identity. too old to be newfag, yet too new to be oldfag, we wander b.net in search of a home, forever trying to be something we are not.

"We're bored! We want more community involvement!"

"Okay, we'll hire a man from Montana and force him to move across the country to work for us in order to please you."

Mailbags answering meaningless questions aren't doing it for me.

They could have just let him stay where he was. I think there wasn't much need for him to move if all he was going to do was ask people to ask him questions that he might answer, usually being the ones with no real correlation to destiny or Bungie. "Do you like bananas?", "Why are double sausage and egg muffins so good?".

I can't wait till Deej is allowed to post real stuff! :-)

It's disappointing because those are questions that have a legitimate chance of being picked. Sure, the Mail Sacks aren't a -blam!-load of fun, but they're better than nothing, which is what DeeJ is allowed to talk about.
Jeez everyone jumped down my throat about this. I didn't say I didn't appreciate the effort of the mailbags and obviously Bungie cares about our boredom. I'm just saying that answering questions that really are meaningless isn't filling the void of game info, and there's really nothing that can be done about it now.

Their answer will probably be: "Not now we are working on the famous secret project, maybe later"

And then that later never came :(

The longer you are in the dark, the more impressive the light appears once you emerge.

Unless you're in the dark for too long.

Bungie has been 'dark' for a long time now, but we're still hanging on to that very thin thread, or we're still holding onto that ice axe which is stuck in Bungie's 'cliff' so to speak.
A cliff of darkness.
I'm not sad about it because, however soon or later, Bungie will have a new game out. We're really the Higgs Bosons in a time of nothingness before the next big bang.

Not that the new game will be made BY us, we're just that specific particle that exists before the next explosion.

Agreed.

Thank you Bungie,

See you starside.

Well, to be fair they've kept updating us for quite a while, so a couple of months break probably won't kill us.

That being said, an occasional "hello" would be welcomed.

Unless you're in the dark for too long.

This is a good quote. Eventually we'll get bored of waiting.
But... we've been waiting since 'September 14, 2010'.

A WHOLE year of waiting for Bungie's next game.
Take 5 months from that for the additional multiplayer support and DLC and we have February 14, 2011.

We've literally been waiting since Feb 14th '11.
That easily proves we'll be here for much longer. It depends on the 'willpower' or commitment to Bungie we have that determines how long we'll be here for. I'll be here for as long as possible.

But, again, I'm not SAD about it. Just.. bored.
