Alright, so my Live headset just stopped working on me. The little plastic clip thingy broke months ago, but now it just plain doesnt work. I talk, but my friends cant hear me. (on a side note, does anyone have a headset that HAS NOT broken?)

So, I've heard that headset mics made for cell phones work. Is this true? And if so, what kind do I need to get?

i have 2 headsets that haven't broken. i use my xbl headset on my homephone. so about any headset designed to work with a normal home telephone should work.

well, you could go out and buy yourself that halo headset. for $50. i don't think it improves your halo skills. in fact i don't think it does much of anything at all, aside from function as a headset/mic. all i'm saying is that for $50 it had better massage my... back.

No idea, and I heard it doesnt come with the adapater to plug it into the controller, so you have to already have one

i'll confirm that. i called tech support at plantronics and asked. they confirmed that it doesn't come with the adapter. so if you don't already have one you screwed into buying a headset just for the adapter.
