Cortana 5 is a carbon-based lifeform that frequently visits these forums, currently residing in the United States. Practically every male on the site responds to her posts.

The Joyeuse IP Formula

I think I know exactly who we're talking about.
If we're talking about the same person and PM, then let me say that they didn't even get my gender right on this one. If I'm going to be verbally raped VIA the messaging system... you know what? Never mind.

I don't see you doing anything to help our country.
Except sitting at home, naked, eating twinkies, rubbing your hands together going "Heh. Target Destroyed. Mission Accomplished." Oh wait. that's not helping.

If he were really determined, he'd get around it with a new account. But this account is around a year old, I think.

It's nothing that the block button can't fix, but it is mass spam. Besides, I recall that an admin can check your inbox. No big deal if they needed to see the PM.

Just ignoring the user is the most you can do.

From what I recall, mods/admins have said they won't ban from PM's between two members.
It was sent to a lot of members, and was about 6 paragraphs.

No. Unfortunately, there's no way to prove (safely) to the Mods these messages were actually sent to you. However, a site Admin (Achronos, runningturtle, etc.) may do something if it's really THAT bad. If it was just harassment, then I'd say no. Death threads or really bad -blam!-, perhaps.

It's not that I'm crazy... It's just that, you're not as far out there as I am.

I don't think so. You can just blacklist them from your inbox. That's what someone told me.

Halo 3 Longshore playable on Team Fortress 2 vids

There have been an event where one specialized member who glitched the system by embedding a series lines of code that actually allows the member to display a image. Then, that was quickly abused when a spammer of some sort started to post private message to all user on bungie.net with an extremely inappropriate picture. Duardo and a team of Bungie quickly discovered this issue and the user behind the culprit, as well as the spammer who spammed the image were both permanently banned from Bungie.net.

If you find anyone who send you a message that leads you to a shocking website or anything like that, please contact the moderator for further instruction. Otherwise, the best tool you are provided to use with is the Block button.
