Skill isn't a binary. It's a scale.
I think people are getting confused about how much skill the Banshee takes to use because it's easier to get kills with. That doesn't mean it takes less skill to use effectively. I would argue that the difference in skill is just the same as the DMR. It takes less skill to get 10 kills with the Banshee than wit the DMR, but I would argue it takes just as much skill to use to its full potential.
In my last 2 games on Headlong, using the Banshee I was 43-0 and 58-1. The average Banshee user couldn't dream of getting those kind of results on a consistent basis (especially without a party). This means that the Banshee takes skill. It's not rocket surgery. It might not require the same type of skills you'd like it to (like aiming accuracy which is needed to use the DMR), it takes skills like getting from A to B quickly and avoid being destroyed and knowing how to barrel roll etc.
I ask, what would you consider a good K-D result with the Banshee? 40-0? 50-0? 70-0? I ask because it seems like no matter what amount of kills I get with the Banshee, you'll still say "meh" which is just unreasonable. Just because you think it's more powerful than other weapon doesn't mean that it doesn't take skill to use.
