Halo Reach: Adapting to Randomness.

Wow, the TU flash mob strikes again. I'm starting to think you guys sit around and wait for someone to have an opposing view then PM each other for the attack. Get a life.
I'll say it again. The reason you think think TU is better is because you have a narrow view of the game. You'll never believe this but Halo Reach was more than a first person shooter before TU. That is for the past year. The way it was designed by Bungie and meant to be played when we purchased it.
Increasing the firing rate to DMR does not make the game more competitive in any way. TU supporters logic= Gee this is like MLG now, MLG has leagues and tournaments, they are my heroes therefore the game is more competitive.
The game is less competitive. It take less skill to melee, less skill for the sword guy to kill you, which is a shame, less skill for someone to pick up a DMR (always TU supporters primary) and spam the blam out of anyone.
TU sucks and people are starting to realize that so you will begin to see more posts like this.
P.S. just like a TU troll to point out OP K.D. or any other dumb point like that. You don't want him to have a right to be upset. The game is now completely different from the one we purchased. Anyone who has been playing it has a right to any opinion.
So much derp in this post. Your entire argument is flawed in the sense that NOTHING IMPLEMENTED IN REACH WAS SUPPOSED TO INCREASE THE SKILL OF ANYTHING. It added "new" skills, yes, all of which were very basic and could be mastered by almost anyone, but these "new skills" had a great hinderance on the core skills of Halo, drastically reducing the overall skill gap. Reach essentially took a manual transmission and turned it into an automatic. These "new skills" are used to attain the same outcomes, they are just far easier than it was to attain such outcomes in the past.
If you wanted to live you would have been be conscious of your teams movement, and they had to conscious of yours; with Sprint or AL you can run out by yourself and still survive. Reducing the skill gap.
If you wanted to win you had to gain map control and use it effectively. with JP this is completely negated. Reducing the skill gap.
If you wanted to flank you needed to have a well coordinated push and distraction; now you can just hit the A button when you die and be invisible and able to push to the other side of the map without being seen.
Just a few of the dozens of ways Reach's mechanics dwindled the skill gap of the game.
TU flat out increases the overall skill of the game, and from my hours upon hours spent on the 343 forums it is pretty clear that anyone who doesn't agree isn't even aware of the actual skills of Halo. Most think choosing your weapon or Loadout for the right situation is the peak of Halos skill, and this is laughable by anyone who is ACTUALLY skilled at the game.
