Forget it man, and get with the countdown. Shake this square world and blast off for Kicksville.
Reach host ranking algorithm: (a*quit_percentage + b*isMexican + c*(1/KDR) + d*hasGuest) * 100
where a > b = d > c

Ah, my point? Well I've indeed noticed quite a few unique characters around this establishment and the Waypoint forums seem to think the player with the better stats have more weight to their opinion than a lesser player.
And, I love default settings, I know RC Clone doesn't.
Having better stats demonstrates experience (sometimes) in how gameplay operates at a higher level. That being said, from observation, reasoning, and discussion with better players, you can still gain an understanding of Halo that exceeds your skill level.
It's possible to have bad stats yet have an intelligent opinion on gameplay mechanics. It's also possible (albeit more rarely) to have good stats yet be utterly retarded.
I treat people's viewpoints this way:
Good/smart player: Generally speaking, total respect.
Good/idiot player: I'll consider what they have to say, but by definition I'll inevitably dismiss their statements.
Bad/smart player: If they're logically cohesive, I generally find myself agreeing with them. The only point of note is that their opinion will necessarily rank below good/smart players. When RC Clone speaks, I listen. When Killer VVhale speaks, I listen harder.
Bad/idiot player: I won't waste my time.
For the record, I would consider myself a bad/smart player (albeit at the lower end of the bracket).
