First of all you should learn to type and spell a little better.

That being said, I agree that a nice new feature would be the ability to use cover more effeciently, but it would need to be VERY simple. Like, use the left bumper or the d-pad to use cover. One of the things that makes Halo so popular is it's accessibility. You can learn every action the MC can make in just a few seconds. Halo's controls are very simple, and need to remain that way to remain popular. But, I'd like to see that feature for sure.

Discuss.

I'm awesome.

My mom says so.

I hope to god Halo 3 doesnt have "wall peeing"

Evil Angels
CHROMEHOUNDS
1/6/2010- A day that will live on in infamy.

The Man in Black fled across the desert, the Gunslinger followed.

I follow the rules and think about kittens. Halo's shooting is okay. Triggers are the coolest.

First off dude, in Halo 2 you can use anything for cover. It's just how you play that depends on your "circle strafing" and "tactical shooting". For instance since you hate sniper you should know that they stay back for "cover" and take you out from a safe position. Is this not tactical shooting?

An easy way to make Halo 3 very tactical.

Include a cover system where all you have to do is walk into the wall and you can take cover on it and move around, as well as shoot around corners. GRAW is an excellent example of this.

I do not want wall peeping or whatever it's called. That would change the classic gameplay way too much. Just use walls. And it's supposed to be one the the advantages of not having that. In live when somebody shoots you and you run behind a wall, they wait for you to come out. This provides you with mny options and tactics to
1. Escape from
2. Kill from.

Halo should stay the way it is, but further upgrade in 3. The way Bungie made it is the right way. Thats why it is one of the most played games (if not the most). People that havent heard of cars have probably heard of Halo.

maybe they could add like a wall hug feature like in GRAW where you can peer around corners and what not.

I HATE when people sidestep (strafing refers to aircraft) left right left right while I'm shooting at them, because unless you're host you miss the majority of the shots, strictly speaking it's cheating because it's taking advantage of your connection to the game.

hahaha.. I -hate- when I got a headshot lined up, and they duck! What am I supposed to do? Aim down a little no more!? No way!! They're cheating. I demand that they return to their regular upright position, before I threaten them with cheating feedback.

And don't even get me started on those guys who dual wield, then all of a sudden drop one of their weapons and throw a grenade!! They are taking advantage of controls, tactics and concepts that I can't bare to grasp, and have no tolerance for.. hah.

I thought I heard everything when it came to -blam!-ing about H2, but this one... this one takes the cake.

Uh.....yeah, what do you want people to do, just stand there so you don't miss? Not being host doesn't make you miss shots, that's called BAD AIM. Circle strafing as cheating? Are you actually serious?
Oh, and strafing no longer just refers to aircraft there, Webster, might want to glance at a dictionary before trying to act like one.

Anyways.......
I like how Halo plays, it just feels natural, it's fast paced and fun. I look at tactical shooters like GRAW as nice alternatives to Halo's arcadey-esque action, but the fast pace(and thrill of the action) would be lost if it became one of those games.

LoL, you shouldn't complain, I as a halo PC user have to lead even feet away in front of the person for my hit to register, don't complain becasue Gearbox made Halo PC have a horrbile netcode, for example hit a warthog while its moving with a rocket at the gun end of it won't register and the warthog will keep on moving as nothing happened, no kill, no nothing. So please don't complain. Just learn to adapt as people in Halo PC have done, try to lead shots and soon it'll become second nature.

Wow, you were too dumb to read it and understand it. Let me put it this way, When I am shooting at the enemy and the small pings from their shield are visible that indicate that my xbox has registered I am firing at the enemy and my bullets are making contact, I miss because they are moving in a manner that renders about 80% of my shots misses because the host of the game receives my bullets trajectory a few milliseconds after my targets co-ordinates are received, so in order to hit ever shot I would have to fire slightly in front of where my target is going, impossible if they are moving quickly left and right because of the amount of Auto-Aim *spit* on the BR. Did you understand at least why it annoys me? even if you don't understand the technicalities of online gameplay?
Only take the piss if you know what I'm on about.[quote]Posted by: Genuine fat air

You're still a moron, because you DID NOT POST THE ABOVE originally, you printed a bunch of stuff that made no sense to anyone except yourself. Clarify things, and take the -blam!- outta your mouth before you start blabbing.

the halo games are circle strafing game, basicly strafing aroug and opponant shooting him until either you or him die first. this is fun. however I play other fps(tc graw call of duty) and they have what I call "tatical shooting". This is bascically wall peeing and using stuff for cover and not standing out in the open. I think Halo 3 should include some ''tatical shooting''

What o you think?

sorry but i just have to ask why people peeing on walls is tactical shooting? lol

joking aside, yeh i think it should definately have a tactical element to it because tactics always increase longetivity (if there is enough)
