Nope. SouthPole isn't a person. He's the avatar of the force of tryhards everywhere. He stalks the web looking for retards to set straight. He can not be stopped by mere bans or thread locks for he shall rise anew.

What? Im not lying, I got that info from my games history myself.

If its no the majority, at least its quite a lot of matches i come first and second

No, you think you do.
And really? Just accept that you're bad. It's a video game. The first step is acceptance. If you want to get better, play with TU settings. You won't be able to rely on crutches.

I did look. You win like 50, maybe 60 percent of your games. That's still in team games, most of which you went negative or just broke even in.

I know its just a video game, but just look at my most recent matches, for the first 3 or 4 pages the majority of slayer matches i have been first or second. I know I am improving

See, if that were a few months ago I probably wouldnt be winning any. And 60 percent is over half way. In a while I think I will be winning more and going positive more

Improving=/=good
You went from being thumbless to really bad.

Why are we even talking about this? Back to the original topic, you only like default because it caters to you.

SouthPole is right. Play in TU settings for a month or two and your K/D should rise as you get better. I always considered myself an above average player, but with playing TU mostly, I have improved much more. You don't have to enjoy TU to realize it makes you a better player.

Yes, I am bad, but in a while i will be about average

IDK, I mean I like Halo 3, which has settings closer to TU Reach than Vanilla Reach, but I dont like TU Reach. TBH i think i prefer vanilla because I dislike a lot of things about TU. I know for a fact vanilla could be better but IMO TU doesnt improve it

Suppose. TBH the things I dont like are te nerfing of armour lock and the bleedthrough. I dont mind 85% bloom

Bleedthrough is annoying, but after a while you actually start to like it. It definitely helps in FFA. If you use Armor lock, you're not going to improve. That's just a fact, not an insult. You should try playing Multi-Team or BTB to start your road towards improvement. After you get the hang of things, which may take a month or two, try your luck in Team Objective and TU ZB Slayer.

It pays off, trust me.

I dont abuse armour lock though. Im not one of those players who gets shot a couple of times and armour locks. If i get shot from behind i usually escape, wait for my shields to recharge and then fight them.

I only use armour lock to escape from the grenade spamming noobs who the TU has catered towards. In normal slayer, AL is a saviour from them. In TU, they can spam to their hearts content and still kill you in armour lock. Its annoying.

Also, I like bleedthrough in Halo 3 but there is something i just dont like about it in Reach. It just seems unfitting with the other game mechanics. PI preferred double melee because it taught people to use their guns more and not rush into a melee.

Two words

GRENADE SPAMMERS

I rest my case

I don't know how many words

Everything that got changed in Reach is bad.

Reach nades are bad.

Movement speed of Reach is bad

Low jump height is bad

Armor abilities are bad

These maps we are forced to play on are bad

I rest my case.

I agree about nades

TBH i dont mind jump height. If anything it stops jumpers (people who constantly jump around) from having such a big advantage like in Halo 3.

I think that sprint is the only good armour ability. Armour lock IS bad, I just use it because it is the only way to get away from grenade spammers.

The maps arent that bad.

I think that if grenades were reduced to one off spawn, or were nerfed in someway, we wouldnt need any AAs apart from sprint.

Yes but the speed and jump height of Halo 3 made it so that those players who constantly jumped around and shot got an easy kill and a massive advantage over those who play with relatively low look sensitivities. At least in Reach it is easy to counter attack them on a low sensitivity

  • 02.24.2012 12:14 PM PDT

Jumping constantly didnt give you an advantage in H3 lmao.

It did because you jumped higher and faster so it was harder to counter attack if you play on medium look sensitivity

Maybe if you lack brain cells. Only idiots jumped constantly, it made you an easy target.

Not if you go up to someone and jump around in circles
