Good job.

You are one step through the process of liking Halo gameplay and not Reach gameplay.

Getting AR-sprayed for a split second and then beat down is the most frustrating thing ever, I can't see myself 'adapting' to it.

The rest is gud.

Why would you adapt to something that has been already featured in Halo 3?

Hello! I'm a male!

Halo: Reach =/= Competative

TU Halo: Reach =/= Fixed

Halo: Reach - Halo = Fixed

The logic here is that Halo: Reach doesn't play like a Halo title and therefor can only be fixed by removing the Halo name from the game. Then it will be fixed due to the hardcore Halo fans wanting Halo titles to feel like Halo won't have to worry anymore because instead of Halo: Reach it would just be called Reach. Then the people that like the casual gameplay that is vanilla Halo: Reach won't have to worry about the old Halo fans trying to have Reach changed to feel like a Halo title and which it fails at when fixed and still doesn't feel like a Halo game. My logic is so great when it comes to this situation.

You couldn't be more wrong friend. You think that if this wasn't a halo game people wouldn't have complained about bloom resulting in "Roll the dice" 1v1 battles? You think people wouldn't have complained about Armor Lockers getting 6 seconds of invincibility after they have clearly lost a battle? You think people wouldn't have complained about the people who just sprint around the map going for double melees (Why bleedthrough is better)?

Well you are wrong bud, just removing "Halo" from the title doesn't change the fact that there were broken mechanics in the game.

It's a hell of a lot better then having someone sprint at you, you unload half a clip, and they still get you with the double beatdown.

Bleedthrough works fine in reach, and if you are really getting meleed that much then you are not playing the game right, this is a FPS after all.

I like both... Im not a fanatic of Halo, Ima casual gamer and a hardcore gamer on the side... I can get my dose of Hardcore and my dose of Casual gaming with the same game... MM is a world of his own, people are so die-hard stats padder that they cant enjoy a game... it has to be to their taste and nothing else, cause we all know how everyone else has bad taste but try-hard die-hard fans who are always right... Halo is too slow paced to be a tournament/pro game, CS and Unreal are THE fps for tournament/pro gaming, not Halo... cause its a mother fu-king console game, not a pc game, therefore it is slower paced, therefore all you people trying to sound pros on console are... well let me just put it that way... Console pro Gaming < Pc pro Gaming

Halo Reach is good (not uber awesome, not the worst crap I've seen, but still good), you just dont like it

Because I would know what? Never claim to know anything, I'm just voicing my opinion about how die-hard fanatic halo player think they know it all and they call themself pro when they are not even comparable to real PC Pro Gamer... Halo Reach is good, not uber awesome, not the worst crap I've seen, and its true...

Oh and we all know since I didnt play Halo 3 on XBL that my opinion is worthless, I know nothing of gaming, I never played Halo 3 online, how would I know competitive gaming right?

lol at this

Frank O'Connor said he doesn't think the Halo series needs to be taken in a radical new direction... it just needs to go "deeper"

"Ultimately the core game mechanic and strength of the universe doesn't need to be changed, it just needs to be taken deeper. We want to make Halo games - we don't want to make Call of Duty or Ridge Racer. We want to make Halo games because we understand what's special about Halo."

Agreed.

This way the OP is one step closer to like how Halo 4 will play, which is nothing of little like vanilla Reach plays.

I also feel this way.

There can be a way to convince 343i to add 75% melee as default.

Even 90% melee is too much, as a matter of fact that feels like Halo 3s melee which was pretty powerful, therefore 75% melee is the the way to go.

That, and 10% speed increase and TU will play like a dream.

  • 02.24.2012 7:55 AM PDT
