When all hope seems lost, and the ground is littered with the bodies of our fallen comrades, wait for the thunderous crash of my rifle, and I shall lead us to salvation.
I like ODST a whole lot more than I like Reach. I think my stats pages clearly reflect this, as I got Reach on release day and stopped playing very shortly after, but I still play ODST from time to time (and a ton of Halo 3).
I really enjoyed how ODST was an allegory to Dante's Inferno, and Sadie's Story really had me hooked. Absolutely superb story all the way. The ominous atmosphere (hightened even more by Marty's epic music) and general feeling of loss and loneliness really served to immerse me in the world.
The only part I really enjoyed about Reach was the end of the campaign. No, that's not meant to be an insult; The way you stand and fight at the end, giving it your best as waves and waves of covenant troops rush you...as your visor and HUD begin to break and you know that you will be giving your life to defend everything you hold sacred...It was a pretty amazing finale to a game that I didn't particularly enjoy as a whole.
