One of the best "parts" of a Halo game is the random factor that comes with playing. It's hard to describe, but basically anything can happen at any time, and usually its unexpected, unrealistic, and oddly hilarious. And usually once something completely crazy goes off, you just sit back and have to laugh it off because getting frustrated only makes you feel foolish.
Well now I find myself getting frustrated more often (shots missing = bloom, movement speed/jump height reduced = grenades in the face, armor abilities = game is more unpredictable in a not so funny way), but not having more fun because of it ?
It's confusing because you would think adding more to Halo would make it even more unpredictable and chancey, and in turn more enjoyable. But that's not the case.
Has the saying "less is more" ever felt so true ?
