Subject: Why Are Hunters So Technologically Advanced?

Wait, but since they all basically become one, wouldn't simply killing a few screw the whole thing up?

Yup. In one of the books a Spartan killed a Hunter by ripping out a fistful of worms.

I'm assuming it has to be a certain amount, kinda like blood loss.

That was William in Ghost of Onyx.

On a side note i remember reading somewhere that because the Hunter species ies in the forerunner metal of their planet the Covenant could not attack them without damaging the forerunner material with they worshipped

I would assume the Prophets would do the same thing they did with the Elites. Utilize their ships.

"Dude, what are you doing right now?"
"Uhh... Heh, my mom."
"Dude... What?"

Wouldn't the Worms just infest the Covenant's war machines' innards and slowly break them down?

Could be done by engineering some sort of group-sabotage, or by just eating the vehicles and weapons for a snack.

Seems more logical than going full-on worm hulk. (Seeing as that video showed one Jedi, which each Elite would have an energy sword equal to a lightsaber).

Per Audacia Ad Astra

Honestly I've thought about this for years when it would come up, and it doesn't seem logical at all. If it were to happen, the Mgalekgolo must've had some sort of advanced ally.
