"To me, a nice triple kill with the sniper is infinitely more impressive than any Living Dead Killionaire"
Does flaming people on forums count as an esport?
I'm a commendation/achievement/statistics freak.

Go into forge and look at all (or some) of the maps. Fly around and find all the power weapon spawns and timers, as well as areas with lots of respawn points and things like that. This will allow you to predict weapon spawns and know where your enemies are coming from after you kill them.
Learn to strafe when facing DMR users, a short strafe at close range, long strafe at long range. Use the motion tracker, but don't glue your eyes to it and not pay attention. Only get into situations that you are confident you can win.
For example, if you finish killing one guy and you have a tiny bit of shield left, and another guy starts rushing you with his AR, should you engage? NO. You are weak and will lose no matter how you fight. Run away in this situation. In time you'll develop a sort of "sixth sense" as I call it, and you'll be able to predict your enemies and the course of the battle. It's be a force to be reckoned with.
**EDIT** Also, find a friend who you can octagon. download a TU Slayer DMRs gametype from recent history, download any octagon map, and 1v1 him as much as you can. It'll help you withy your accuracy, strafe, and pacing your shots. You'll both become better players, and a little bragging rights is always nice too.
