Then just remove it. Halo CE, Halo 2 and Halo 3 played fine without bloom. That is a possible solution, but I think it is possible to make bloom work, although making the game feel more casual... Just because a game isn't meant for MLG doesn't make it a bad game, mind you.
That influence is why we lost our old movement speed and jump height. I want them gone. I agree somewhat, however, like I said again, I want most AAs nerfed significantly, so that would also sever the influence to other aspects.
Jumping doesn't make you go faster. That is a preposterous myth that only fools believe. The CE jump height is still better than the Reach jump height. That is not true. If you set markers in Forge, you can find out that moving is slightly slower than jumping forward. The differences are barely noticable because this must be done over long distances. BTW, Halo 1's jump height was akin to the Reach beta jump height. It was impossible to crouch jump over a Warthog compared to Reach. In H1, the camera was positioned much lower, making it seem like the small jumps were taller.
The CE nades also took longer to explode. The Reach nades explode the fastest, have a large blast radius and we are too slow to make any attempt to escape them. I meant the explosion and and radius of the Halo 1 nades were much larger, but other factors such as the respective movement speed affected its usefullness.
I want this game to play like a weird mix between Halo CE, Halo 2, and Halo 3.
The only thing Halo 3 would contribute to said mix would be the ranked playlists.
The actual gameplay I want has elements from CE and Halo 2.
It's funny how you simplified what I said to make an assumption that was based on nothing in my post.
Acutally, I said "it seems" instead of "it's certain," which implies a guess...
