Why I dislike the Title Update? Melee. It just doesn't work in Halo:Reach, or for the fact they changed such a big factor to the game 15 months after the games release.
Almost EVERYONES 3rd most tool of destruction is Melee. Its clear to say its a big factor in the game, and it really is just awful in TU. I can't even use my Concussion Rifle because of the Melee, or Slice someone with my sword. The guy with lay 2 body shots on me while im running up to him with my Sword, and punch me as I slice him, and we both die.
I will shoot my Concussion gun at the enemy, and the blast from my own weapon will get me killed, because the enemy can pummel me in one shot. I find myself getting killed by people pummeling me, honest to god, about 2X as much as normal since they changed it.
Active Camo being downgraded even more? This has to be one of the most worthless abilities pre-TU, and they felt they needed to change it, because people were using it to camo-snipe on maps (They distinctly said this in a Halo bulletin), so the ability that blocks your radar, disables your hearing, allows you to not move, is not only a 12 second ability, rather then the original 30 seconds. What?
Armorlock Should just be taken out of everything else but Squad Slayer, Big Team, and the final pahse in Invasion. Its an Ability that SHOULD be used to counter VEHICLES, not an ability that should be abused in Small Team Slayer games to avoid your death.
Swordblock removed? Good.
Armorlock being somewhat changed? Good.
Bloom being reduced? Good.
Would I rather have the small amount of bloom added, that I've grown used it in the 15 months, the swordblock that makes me rage from time to time, or the Default playlist?
