" i found out these crazy things u can do in halo 1. Ok u know the covenent weapon? the green one. well if u hold the trigger down it like shoots a bigger beam and does more damage. it even takes away shields and stuff. and another trick, the plasma grenade, u know the blue flashy one, well u can throw it at a guy and it sticks. Last in multiplayer if u come up behind someone u can press the "B" button and u kill them in one hit from the back."
You can't be serious. I'm not one to jump on someone who has gone ahead and found actual tricks and eggs if they've just gotten the game.
But come on...
Those aren't tricks. Any gameplay techniques you can gather from the game manual isn't a trick. Like someone said, a trick would be Warthog launching (except you don't just 'throw a bunch of grenades' - they have to be dropped by fallen Marines or coop partners, making them 'live grenades.) Or finding a way on top of one of the levels, or getting a Banshee (the purple alien flying thing) when you're not supposed to. Those are tricks.
Then there are 'Eggs' - secret little things the designers put in the game for the scrutinizing fan to find. Finding the 'Seige of Madrigal' song on AOTCR would be one.
Then there are useful gameplay pointers - shooting a Hunter in his back orange area with a pistol for a one-shot kill, would be one.
Your 'trick' is common knowledge. Like telling people they can zoom in with their pistol by clicking down on the right analog stick.
'Cmon, man! The game has been out 2 1/2 years, for crying out loud. Don't you think people know the basic gameplay mechanics by now?
This must be a joke.
:/
Btw, people, in case you didn't know - in Halo, walking over the white packs lying on the ground with red crosses on them will heal you!!
:D
