Halo: Reach is the beginning of a new age for gaming.
It proves that developers can get away with punishing their players instead of fixing their game....and yet the fanboys will still sing praises to them.
-blam!- all of you fanboys!
And how is that any worse than just starting with a DMR and just spamming that all day?
You even said it yourself. With AR starts, you actually get 2 different forms of attack coming forward as ToD's
With DMR's only 1 ToD. The DMR.
At least AR starts make you mix it up a little bit.
But then again, are you telling me that grenades don't play a role in AR starts?
You're basically -blam!-ing because when you play AR starts, some people end up having to defend themselves with that AR before they were able to find a different weapon...
Whereas with DMR, there is no need to find a different weapon. Just run and hide in some far off corner away from combat and gank kills.
I mean seriously, compare the 2 scenarios, and you'll find out that what you -blam!- about is probably the dumbest -blam!- thing ever. Because it's all relative.
You start with DMR's, guess what the ToD becomes?
You start with AR's guess what the ToD becomes?
To me at least... The AR encourages you to replace it as soon as possible with something better. But that isn't always possible if you're having to defend yourself before you're able to replace it.
"I don't like AR starts because spray/melee combo becomes everyones ToD!"
Seriously...stfu.
