Be strong, Own the world, Be the world

So I hadn't played Halo Reach for quit a while and recently I got effing tired of MW3 and Skyrim, so I went back to ole faithful and decided to get back into Halo Reach matchmaking, and I knew that 343 changed a LOT, but had no idea why there was only 2 maps available and the option for none of the above for Team Slayer voting. It used to have 3 map options and the option for none of the above. So why did this change? And why is it that half of the options for voting include TU beta? What makes TU beta different from regular Slayer, and why can't they just keep the beta in a different playlist? I was also pissed that there were so many highly ranked players now than there were last year when I used to play all the time. I'm a General grade 1 and thought I spent an excessive amount of time playing online, but now in every other game I play, there is at least 2 players above the Legend rank, and they spend too much time playing, so they dominate every game and it's no fun... man I can't wait till Halo 4 comes out...

So basically... Waypoint is pro-vanilla?

Waypoint isn't pro-anything so much as they're just anti-intelligence.

You you quit the game for "a while" and come back to it, only to discover that people have ranked up past you?

THE HORROR

Ever wonder what's up there?

343i put two voting options to see if the community likes to play with Title Update settings (TU).

These settings include bleedthrough, which practically makes the DMR a 4-shot-kill, Armor Lock can't shed off plasma grenades anymore, Active Camo lasts shorter, and the Magnum can only pop shields with 5 shots, but if the 5th shot is to the head it's still a kill.

I don't really like TU settings, and since they have infected pretty much 70% of the game, I stick to Invasion.

What did you expect? Generals were almost never considered "high" ranks anyways.
