You want to know what Halo has that CoD doesn't have? Multiple things:
Driveable vehicles (Such as the Warthog)
Diverse weaponry (All the weapons in CoD only either shoot a bullet, a shotgun shell, or a rocket - Halo weapons shoot plasma EMP's, crystal bullets that home in on enemies, etc)
It takes actual skill to be skillfull - In CoD, any "spree" is often referred to "killfeeds", because they are exactly that. The player turns a corner and sprays, gets 4 kills, congratulations. In Halo, a single player must out-skill multiple opponents that not only have shields (which makes the aforementioned CoD tactic useless), but they also have weapons of their own. I've seen a single player ninja the entire other team in Halo, and I haven't seen something like that since. Conversely in CoD, I see killfeeds all the time.
inb4 arguments over facts and inb4 arguments over my preference to Halo over CoD.
