Yes this is all the things i like to hear. I stopped playing Halo 2 for awhile because i could not stand the modders. But it has seemed to have calmed down in the recent months. Thank You Bungie

because if seeing is believing,
then believe that we have lost our eyes

lol man i love the guy who said 1-800-4myxbox ( or whatever the phone # is ) said they gave his informatiopn to some other guy. man im gonna lose 15 min. of sleep tonight laughing at noobs taking more than 30 min. of having friends calling the phone # or e-mailing bungie more than 3 times for their friend, or losers i know at school who mod and they ask me like everyday if i have a 2-month they'll buy for $5. I just tell em to save themselves like $50 in the long-run by getting a 2-month and stop cheating. My favorite thing to tell modders in the post-carnage report is, " Now only if there was a mod for having a life and friends you would have it made in the shade dude."

I love bungie and legit players. I dont care if your a guy who gives it their best but still has a low level. at least u keep a life and dont waste your time modding. :>

yeah, I glad that you guys kick people permenantly. I know a lot of people who think you guys do nothing but it's great to here it. As for stupid b i t c h e s on the forums that always whine about how no one can get a good level without cheating, you're wrong. it's called WIN ALL OF YOUR LEGIT GAMES... idunno maybe I'm just lucky and got my 40 because god loves me more then you but I kinda doubt it. If you have a good team and you win the games that are legit then you make up for the bad games against cheaters.

Hahahaha oh my god, thank you so much bungie, that was hilariously refreshing. I love to see the -Blam-ers squirm and writhe in pain. Im kinda sadistic like that i suppose but you know, its nice to see them in pain after being standby-ed, modded on, and etc. Thanks, i needed this.

i laugh at how retarded people are.
then your probly gonna call me a hipicrit cause im banned. but i admit i did some big cheating. it was quit fun pissing people off. hehehe.
well. i found the first one really stupid. you can take out a moddchip because it tampors with the bios and the C drive. very funny. and the comment one is very true. but we enjoy making people mad. hehehe.

Then you're gonna LOVE this.

You're banned from matchmaking, you admitted to cheating, you admitted to enjoying the screams of those that you cheated.

I can't wait to see how it feels for me, to know that I've probably pissed you off by permanently blacklisting you.

I hope that it feels as good as you describe.

Pwned :D

Although I must confess, I cheated once. ONCE. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. First multiplayer game I ever played. I had a no fog cheat. I still got pwned. And it was more fun without. Cheating killed my MoHAA experience forever. Cheating is -blam!-. I also used to cheat at Monopoly. But as every game ends in tears, bruises, and game pieces scattered everywhere with stilted, akward apologies hours later, I guess nobody really cared.

bungie's cheater detection software = MS Word spell check

Show me a cheater with good spelling and grammar skills and I'll show you a legit 35 chimp.

Signatures are for little kids.

Those were some of the funniest pleas for forgiveness I've ever heard. My spelling isn't perfect, but those kids make me look like a university english teacher! Sadly, many of those kids will "fall through the cracks" and end up as chemically dependent petty criminals. We can only hope they kill themselves before they can become such a blight to society. Think about it, today cheating in Halo 2, tomorrow stealing your car or molesting your young daughter. I only wish that Bungie was authorized to dish out some capital punishment instead of just banning them for a year.

The Sage of Halo final solution to not getting banned. don't cheat. don't play with cheaters. don't associate with cheaters. put a password on your account so your "little brother, freind, associate, or stoler cannot get to your account. do not mod in matchmaking do not mod in custom games. do not swear or use vulgar language. do not make threats or harrass. do not be lude. do not standby. do be a respectful and legit player.

I have to take varying degrees of honest to god complaints daily and solve them. If I had to deal with stuff like that on a daily basis, wow that would be awesome...

98% of the high school studants reeding this didn't do there homewerk too play Halo 2, if your one of them, copy and paste this into your signeture.

I don't know about the rest of you, but something just doesn't sit right with me here. One thing i'm wondering is, what if someone were wrongfully banned? What if you included their email in one of these "waaaaahmbulance" updates? How do you think that would make them feel? I would consider putting more effort into investigating cheaters and modders to find out if they were, in fact, cheating or modding. The next best thing would be to answer borderline legitimate-sounding appeal emails (mind you, even non-cheaters sometimes can't spell) with a message saying that you'll look into it further. You really should consider this. I'll bet that about one eighth of banned users were wrongfully banned under this computerized system.

That is true but I waould like to know one thing. If they knew they were cheating (for the ones who do know they are cheating) then why did they did they do it? You can't just whine about it. Bungie has been posting on the matchmaking saying "Whoever is using any kind of hacks or mods on Xbox-live will be banned!" See people there is no exuse for being banned. But what I really would like to see is if you can report them on Xbox-live that would make people stop using mods and hacks. Now if some people are wondering so what is the point of using mods? Well some people get so bored of the true Halo 2 experience, that they will use mods and hacks so they can ruin the game and truly ruin the experience, or maybe they just want to see scarabs in turf. I mean I don't mind mods, but when the host has mods or hacks he can easily when the game, unfair! But since bungie doesn't except these hacks and mods, that means you should stay away from mods and hacks ( like drugs) and instead of losing your account maybe you should just consider go with the flow and not use weed I mean mods and hacks.

Great Post, Frankie/KP!

Thank you guys so much for all the work you've done to stop cheating. It's really made the live atmosphere more enjoyable than it was over the Summer 2005.
