Subject: Repeatedly getting booted from Matchmaking but not losing connection?

In the past month i have been repeatedly getting booted from games in matchmaking, but not being disconnected from xbox live. I get booted back to the lobby, and then i can jump straight back into searching for another game.
I have tried everything from port forwarding, changing routers, deleting halo and dlc from my hard drive and re-installing, resetting both my modem and router, but nothing seems to work.
Connection speed isnt the problem as my download is 9.11mbps, and my upload is 4.92mbps.
Any suggestions?

Call your ISP and have them check to see if there might be something wrong.

Is your disk damaged in any way? I used to have a scratched Halo 3 disk that would always kick me out of matchmaking lobbies.

I've just checked my disc and its relatively clean. I'll have to give my ISP a call.
One other thing is, i have a Netgear WNDR3700 Router and the port which my xbox runs into, its a flickering amber light. I have researched this and it means 10/100mbps are running through it. I have researched any solutions to improving this but none thus far.

I'll give that a go, and let you know how it goes, cheers.
And yeah my NAT is open.

My guess would be a scratched disc.
