Here's a message for those of you who don't enjoy custom games: it's because of the way Bungie implented custom games. With custom games, you can play EXACTLY the gametypes you want on the maps you want for as long as you want. If you don't like custom games you SHOULDN'T LIKE HALO because you can change the setting on custom games to your exact liking.

They were too STUPID too allow users to see a list of custom games (and then let people filter them) so now whenever the phrase "Custom game" is used people think "TEAM ROCKETS". Here's a fact: MLG tournaments are Custom Games.

And so God called Moses to come forth but he came fifth and was therefore disqualified.

I love custom games, so long as they are good.

I've always preferred playing custom games since Halo 2, but since Reach isn't very good and the fact that there's no downside to losing in Matchmaking, no one plays them.

In Halo 2 I was the leader of a large clan that was dedicated to playing Custom Games. It means that I could have access to 200 people (100 on my friends list and 100 in my clan) so I could always have a great custom game going. In Reach there's no clan support and the friends list limit is 100 so most of the time I can't get enough people to get custom games going.

I liked customs in Halo 3. My favorite part of Halo 3 was customs. Reach sucked the soul out of customs for me.

Did I once like customs? Yes.

Do I like customs anymore? No.

Custom games were the best in Halo 2 and I think it will remain that way. The XBL community was a lot more open to playing with strangers and meeting new people. It was very easy to get a good custom game going with complete strangers. If you tried to join some random person's custom game now, you'd probably be interrogated and then booted quickly.

Yes as long as it's on my buddys 90mb up host and Octagon.

Ps
This is the only time he gets host, so what can we all learn from this?
Oh yeah while in MM the Host selection is pure BS for giving host to players on dial up host with host history.

Immortality: A toy which people cry for, And on their knees apply for, Dispute, contend and lie for, And if allowed Would be right proud Eternally to die for.

Always up for REACH customs!

Of course I do, it's more than half my games played -- over a thousand.

If anyone thinks Customs fun in Reach is lacking, you're clearly missing out on this. http://www.forgehub.com/forum/customs-lobby/106713-master-lis t-gts-play-customs.html
