The Arbiter recieved his title from the Prophets after being sentenced to death. He was told that every Arbiter before him had died for their cause. Does it make sense that he might also die. Possibly staging a final assault with the Master Chief on High Charity, or another venue?

How logical does this seem 1-10, and comments?

And yeah, Opey could probably win that game without using his BR. Best SMG user in Halo.

I bet that Truth will try to kill him again. I mean, he ordered Tartarus to kill him, I doubt he's just going to let him prance around after that heresy...

Nah... Cortona/Gravemind will take him down... then it's left with MC and Cortona... the final showdown.

How would the Master Chief destroy Cortana? Force a Wildcat Destabilization of the In Amber Clad's reactor cores (not very original)? Or do you want a level dedicated to blowing the chips out of High Charity's computer systems?

What is your idea?

I must say fighting Gravemind would be kinda Legend-of-Zeldaish, a little guy facing a HUGE monster thing complete with vunerable areas and cycling actions. uh uh not in halo...never.

Due to the last level of Halo 2, you get a hint that the Elites and the Humans maybe working
together to stop the Truth, which at this point seems hell bent on destroying all existing life.
Now the Arbiter's fate seems uncertain, but he has high morale standards, and a sense of duty.
He also was betrayed by the Prophets, so maybe the Arbiter sacrfices himself to kill Truth, but who knows.
One thing I have no idea about is how the Prophets got this crazy idea about a ' Great Journey '.
Maybe thier race is dying out, and they got wind of the Fore Runner technology. Now, for some wild reason, the Prophets decided to kill themselves, and all life in the universe.
Also, High Charaity no longer exists, or atleast it will not exist for much longer.
The Flood invaded it, and it is my belief that they subdue it.
The Gravemind then extracts info from Cortana, and heads toward Earth.
Another thing I don't get, in the first Halo, basically your whole objective is to protect Cortana from the Covenant so they don't find Earth.
Yet, in the second Halo, Cortana is basically dissin the Covenant for not knowing much about Earth, I mean, where's the sense of peril?

The only thing I don't want to see is the Arbiter follow the MC around (like marines do) fighting along side him. Their quests should stay separate yet should be complementary.

Bungie wouldn't die with the Master Chief, they would move on to bigger and better things.
