A game which I considered to be the golden age of the 360 back in 07-09, and the biggest thing that stood out to me over reach, is that grenades are much better. Or perhaps it is I am better with them in H3. Even after all this time with Reach being frustrated with grenades, coming back to Halo 3 I did amazing with them, bouncing them off walls into the exact enemy positions and whatnot. This is something I can not do in reach, probably because I throw nades like I always used to in 3.

Not sure what the difference is between the two though, are they thrown with more force in Reach or something?

They are thrown with a lack of concern by Bungie thats why.

There may not be a "I" in team, but there is a "I" in Win.

They just suck. Also if they did the game right witch i dont know, doesnt reach technically have more gravity than earth so the nades would be different throwing. And S-3's arent as strong as S-2's. The games are so different its just to much to explain.

Hanger one I just shredded with the SMGs until ammo was out and I just threw 'nades like a boss while BRing.

My experience playing Cairo Station on Legendary

From what I understand, Bungie took the mobility away from grenades and added more punch. Take this into consideration: The player movement is slower, and jump height is lowered so the ability to avoid grenades is encumbered. If you can't avoid those pineapples, and they're more powerful... you see what I'm getting at. The fact that the blast radius is outrageous and does damage even down to 5%, it makes online MP less enjoyable.

I would much rather live in a world where players move less-logically (Faster with Halo-Jumping), the weapons are not hitscan, and kills are dictated by skill rather than Noobie-Friendly hand-outs,than accept that Reach is actually enjoyable and not just something to pass time on.

Halo 3 may have been dominated by the BR, but at least skill was required to be good, you weren't handed points because grenades are over powered, or because the trash reticle-bloom allowed a mis-fire to hit you as opposed to, I don't know, leading and aiming at your target. I cannot stand how casual Halo has become, it sickens me to see where we've come to where a game is only made if it caters to the whim of the unable.

Halo 2 was a great example of a hardcore shooter. You were either able, or not. You survived, or you were respawning. No question, the good bubbled to the top. Halo 3 found a nice medium where curve balls could be thrown to tip the scale in your favor, but the better player, 9 out of 10 times, came out on top. But with Reach, jesus. What is "Superior" about being able to avoid death from a Rocket launcher numerous times within a few second by armor locking? Why do I need to fight for resources such as camo on the map if I can have it whenever? What team-work do I need in terms of map movement is I can sprint, jetpack, or evade to it? Why should I bother AIMING if the engine rewards spamming equally as much as pacing your shots?

I changed usernames to match my gamertag. My original account, wambo114, was created when I got xbox live. I'm a 2007 kid really!
