Subject: mod for a day

^While I agree, I'm not quite sure I grasp the logic here. You're displeased with the rudeness here, so rather than reply to the actual topic, you chew out those who you think didn't behave correctly, and then tell how you would deal with them yourself and admitted that the only reason your replied was because you thought you had to play big brother?

Not the logic behind the post at all, but close. I've always felt that way, and if I were to be offered it would one of few reasons would I accept. It's one of my BNet lifelong pet peeves.

Don't believe me? It's somewhere in here - I think it's under No u, but I could be wrong, it's in there though.

Edit: To be clear, many of my views have changed since I posted that thread, but that pet peeve will always be with me.
Long but good read. Well worth the time taken to read it. If anyone should be a mod for a day, it should be someone who knows what they are talking about. Rokit knows what he is talking about.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I would expect it to be someone who would bring lulz.

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.
~M.D~

I would enjoy every minute. I wouln't change a damn thing. To be honest i'd just be like any other mod and just do what the duty entails

I find that Teh-Ziod is NOT attractive for the reasons
she/he does not correct format sentences, therefore for intelligent matured members of society that may interact with her/him, may find her/him UNattractive for the reason that she/he does not comprehend with their level to successfully have a conversation therefore it will be socially an awkward interaction which may be wanted to be avoided

second i do not find it physically possible for a PERSON to be a ice cream truck.

Hi, I'm Clint Webb, and I'm running for mod. I have a short-cropped hair cut, a pretty enough but accessible-looking wife, and a newborn baby I have dressed in a suit. Why, to prove to you, that I mean business. For the last 15 years, I've lived my life in such a bland, uncontroversial, and repressed manner, that it's almost unnatural. Why, because I've been preparing to be your forum ninja since I was a child.

Most well-adjusted, sane men would be hesitant to take a job where their decisions would so drastically affect the lives of so many, but not me.

I possess a sort of sociopathic narcissism, that makes me think that I should be in charge of everyone, but all of that needs to start here at home, in this beautiful forum that I've grown to love since I started posting here 18 months ago.

Together, we can piggy-back some of our forum's legitimate needs unto my unquestionable lust for self-glorification. And that's a promise.

Here's an unflattering picture of my opponent.

Here's a quote of his taken out of context.Posted by: DeeJ

Oh, one more thing. I have a dog.

I enlisted in the Flood for the minimum amount of time, in a position that would never see combat. Why, well, because it would help me be your moderator.

I don't make friends. I make acquaintances.

All of my motives are ulterior.

I'm self-involved to the point of psychosis.

My soul is terrifying.

And that's leadership. So this November, let's send Bungie a message. And what is that message? Hey, me.

That may be true, but in my book, competency comes before humor for a position of this nature.

Apt username. Also I love that skit. Kudos.

OT: Do I get to be not a ninja for a day? I'm in favor of this initiative with that included caveat.

Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Try something a few thousand times, and your chances of success is exponentially increased; this increase would likely provide success every time

Ask me a question, and I will most likely respond back with false and illogical information not pertaining to said question.

Me? A mod?

That's... that's IMPOSSIBLE!

No, but actually, that would be pretty sweet.

I'm the cult of personality,
I call it like i see it, if i feel the need to be blunt and to the point, then i will, if i feel the need to be very detailed, i will, im here to stay and im here to do things my way, if you respect that or not is your choice, not mine,
and don't worry, while i don't agree with everyone's opinion, i do respect everyone's opinion.

if i was a mod for a day, i would nuke the halo reach forum =D

Serious post by me know I would give all the mods 24 hours off to party and listen to bobcats dating and wingman stories....

And people could call me vector for a day! Fighting crime with direction and magnitude! Oh yeah!

I don't see why being a mod for a day would be anything special. The only reason people would want to be a mod for a day is so they can have their power trip, and those are exactly the kind of people who they don't want being a mod.

Seriously? I might lock one or two rule breaking threads, visit HFCS, feel cool for a little and then go on with my day rather usually. I think I'd actually miss the handy report button.

Ban all bronies and make a thread mandating that all members who did not have a coup by the end of March would be permabanned.
