I should start this thread by saying, DMR vs. another player is just fine. im not complaining about that, but the real problem is the fact that the DMR can flip warthogs. Vehicles are supposed to be a challenge to overcome, now when ever i see a warthog i think "i will just flip it with my DMR". In halo 3, if you saw an enemy vehicle, youd better hope you had either an Energy Drain, or you fired a good shot with an explosive weapon. OR got lucky (or just really pro) and shot the driver out.
In real life if you saw a truck flying at you, shooting a semi-auto gun is not gonna make the thing barrel roll.
i know most of you will just say "oh its Halo, its the future, not real life" well so what if its the future. Say there really was a rifle powerful enough to flip vehicles, then that means soldiers would die instantly, or if somehow surviving, go flying in the air.
a spartan weighs about as much as a Warthog, so why can DMRs flip warthogs, but take 4-5 shots to the head to kill a Spartan and all they do is fall down? Because you could say either it is overpowered, or maybe even the vehicles are UNDERpowered. either way, its not good and creates frustrating gameplay
