Im new hear at bungie.net but not with bungie. I have been playing bungie games for the last ten years including the entire halo saga, marathon 1, and ONi. Now all of these games were just awesome! Especially of course halo. But now bungie is giving away thier epic creation that is halo and the halo universe. Its amazing how halo combat evolved sparked a million doller industry. This including toys, books, sountracks, etc. Now I being such a huge bungie fan really want to know whats up next. I know that its gonna be somthing big. But how big? Will it be another EPIC that tells of a great journey or are they going back to thier RTS game style. I really want to hear from the bungie staff and the GINORMOUSE bungie comunity. Let me know what you think and how you feel about this new bungie transition out of halo and halo into the mysteriouse 343 industries.

Well, we really don't know much for sure about Bungie's next project, which is rumored to be called Destiny.

We do know that It will have Awesome Hair and Large Dynamic Worlds and that the new game will utilize the Xbox 360 CPU better than the Halo games. Also we know the game will be mutiplatform.

I enjoy the enthusiasm from other bungie fans, but I despise blogging. believe me, it aint going to catch on, Ive been here three years almost and still am unrecognized.

back on topic, the new series isn't called destiny, nor project tiger, those are just codenames like "Blam!" when halo:ce was in development.

Achronos: And what's this about a "design team" I've been hearing? Apparently stosh is so awesome he's now considered a "team".

I doubt it will be. RTS games do not seem to sell well nowadays. Especially on consoles.

"That's about all that can be said for plots, which anyway are just one thing after another, a what and a what and a what.

Now try how and why."

I think I remember hearing Jason Jones saying something along the lines of "wanting to get back to the sense of exploration that originally inspired Pathways into Darkness" or something similar. I'll post the video if I can find it.

Found it.

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

I can't wait for Bungie's next game (whatever it will be), but I'm a bit worried that it might not be as successful as Halo was.

This.

I love the anticipation and the speculation surrounding the new IP, and that all stems from my deep love of Bungie games, and the excitement of wanting to know what the next game is so badly!

Old school Bungie, born and raised,
In the Septagon is where I spend most of my days.
Relaxin', maxin', posting all cool,
Talking about Halo, life and some school.
Got in one little argument, and the mods got scared,
they said "You're gonna get banned and your member title'll be bare!"
