NOw as you all know that Bungie.net will stop updating us with Halo Information on the 31st of March.

But tell me. How can we possibly get Recon when Bungie.net stops with updates?

Will there be a way on halo.xbox.com or after 3.31.12 we will no longer be able to get recon armor ever again on Halo 3?????

Late for now.

Perhaps 343i will release Recon to all as soon as they get their shit up and running. Maybe.

Still better than you.

.....most of you, at least.

I forget, was there actually a process on B.net to unlock the armour? I thought that as long as you got the achievements, it would unlock.

It's a process - First you must achieve all of the vidmaster annuals, and then Bungie's system grants you your recon. Much like you had to unlock blue flames for example - You can no longer get blue flames because Bungie disabled the ability to unlock them. With Bungie passing on the server rights and such to 343i one can expect everything that Bungie has in terms of unlockables to no longer be achievable, just like Bungie disabled blue flames.

I could be spouting all this out of my arse but that's what my opinion is anyway. I could be right or wrong, but I'm leaning towards it being right, just for safety's sake so that I don't get ahead of myself and say that it is doable - Because I don't actually know for sure. It's all just speculative at this point.
