Subject: k/d ratio

Who are you? stop look at me.

Once again K/D doesn't really say anything.

  • 03.01.2012 2:40 PM PDT

Fun fact: 9/10 users with no linked gamertag are better than you at Halo. That doesn't necessarily mean that I am; but it does mean there's a pretty solid chance.

Once again K/D doesn't really say anything.

It says how many kills you get in relation to deaths.

Sure, it doesn't say how you get them or where you get them or who you get them against. But I'd say getting more kills than deaths is pretty important in terms of player ability, and K/D shows that pretty well. It's kind of, what K/D is.

So ae there many ways to increase your k/d ratio?

Yeah, it's easy.

Get better.

And so God called Moses to come forth but he came fifth and was therefore disqualified.

If you have a 1.39, you are divine.

Joke.

Opinions are like butholes. Everyone's got one, nobody wants to hear about it.

It's OK. > 1.50 is good, and > 1.25 is descent IMO.

Most of my friends are below 1.0, but they are pretty good at Halo. why is that?

Are you considered good if you have a k/d of 1.0?
yea it just looks better with your profile, like I'm a hero and i have a 1.55 right now I'm trying to get past 2.00

maybe because they die often but they still get kills does that make sense ??

Yeah, i think so. They really son't care if they die a lot but if they at least get an assassination or revenge, they are satisfied.

The Internet is an empowerment tool that's agnostic; it doesn't care about race, gender, or age.

Wins > KD

Name's John. I'm a 21-year-old firefighter/EMT from lolhio who doubles as a die-hard Halo fan. I've been enjoying the franchise since 2001. My favorite iteration of Halo would have to be Halo 2 simply because I never got to experience the joy of a full-on Halo: CE LAN.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Oh yeah, and boot Zome.

no. By my judgement if you don't have a k/d of 1.5+ you're mediocre.

lol

It's funny because...

I know I look at it like this KD don't mean -blam!- if you Do not got the win. Its like you may have won the battle but not the war.

Here is another question that I have been meaning to ask. Does your k/d lower if you get betrayed?

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

1.0 is average, regardless of what anyone else says.
1.5- 2.0 is above average.
2.5-3.0 is very good.
4.0 proves that you hog the Banshee, are a Recruit that just finished his first game 16 kills, 4 deaths, or you are too good.

You're only good if you have a 2.5 or better.

Immortality: A toy which people cry for, And on their knees apply for, Dispute, contend and lie for, And if allowed Would be right proud Eternally to die for.

My K/D death ratio is perfect. It exemplifies the perfect balance between "Meh, I dont care" & "YOURE DEAD MOTHA -blam!-A!" Anyone under or over my K/D is either terrible or too good. People who are too good boosted, therefore Im the best!

Oh noes! I'm no good then!

"What's up baby, how are you doin'? I hate the sound of my own voice and I been invited here to distract my self from the fact that I wrote all of this garbage."

If your K/D is below 1.2, you don't get an opinion.

It's in the forum rules guys, go look.

Anything less than 2.0 outside of MLG is bad.
