Lot of butthurt tryhards in this thread.
The overused phrase of '12 year old casuals' has surfaced again. Have you ever thought that many people do not care how good they are at Halo?
Using noob weapons and playing living dead seems to be the tactics of those who are skilled at real life. These people don't care enough to be a keyboard warrior, trying to re-ignite the 'glory days' by raging on dat internet.
I like Halo and I've played since day 1 of H2 online but why all the complaining? Does being good at a videogame mean so much to you? Anyone who complains needs to find another hobby and another game.
I've played since Halo CE, Never been into competitive gaming trying to be "The best" or most skilled in Halo. But why I've loved the series, because of it's balance and way it didn't give any handicap to idiots, until Reach. Thats what Halo has been all about to me, the better guy wins, no bs.
I can still understand why friends of competitive gaming are quite pissed, updating playlists made for little kids and removing squad slayer that had atleast bit of ingredients of Halo game is obviously a slap into face to original Halo fans.
You don't have to be a nolife to enjoy balanced gameplay. People who have played Halo for a long time didn't buy Halo 2 to play a gametype with 3 different weapons and camping in unreachable spot with a shotgun.
Not to mention we begged for something akin to Squad Slayer (a Tard Lock free playlist) for -blam!- months, and we actually got it. A significant proportion of the Tard Lock threads then went away, and a lot of people were content.
But this is absurd. Tard Lock threads WILL be back by the dozen if kids get stuck playing against that -blam!- game after game. Squad was the only GOOD playlist were it didn't exist, and now that's gone.
