I am moving in with my brother for a awhile and we both have an xbox. (I have a 360 he has a regular xbox) We both have are own xbox live accounts. IS there a way (through system link maybe) that we can hook up both xbox's and play on the same tv so that I don't have to be in a different room? Just curious. Thanks in advance for the help!

Sorry I forgot to add that the goal is to be able to play team slayer together on the same tv on xbox live. Not just to be able to link the two systems together. Thanks

I assume you are talking about Halo 2, not Halo 1. If that's the case, like the other poster said, you can move an account onto another box. A friend of mine brought over his account on a memory card and we played split screen over here. But be warned, the aspect ratio of Halo 2 isn't nearly as good as Halo CE. We couldn't play it split screen like would could H1 and stopped trying and just went back to H1.

What do you mean by aspect ratio? That normally refers to 4:3 or 16:9.

Maybe I didn't use the right term. I was refering to how Halo 2 has a much more "zoomed in" look to it. You don't see nearly as much of the map. This causes things like getting dissoriented near walls, when close to another player (IE, trying to melee someone). After playing Halo 1 again and going back to Halo 2, I find I get dissoriented quite a bit. But, going from long stints play H2 to H1 I NEVER have that problem. If you try to play split screen, that problem is just made much worse. So much so for me and my friend that we simply can't play H2 splitscreen because we always get twisted around and dissoriented.

There use to be a good, informative thread on this months ago. He talked about the aspect ratio between Halo 1 and Halo 2. I don't remember the stats, just throwing out numbers here....but he was saying with Halo 1 you get say a 90 degree aspect ratio, meaning you can see in a 90 degree arc in front of you in Halo 1. While in Halo 2 you only have say a 70 degree arc of view. Like I said, I don't remember what he said exactly. But, he summed up the problem very well and explained it in a way I can only touch on.

I'm somehow trying to get Bungie to at least look into the issue for Halo 3, although I'd have no idea how to go about it because they say they are not taking customer suggestions. After all it's not a whine about weapons, maps, ext. A "fix" like this could vastly improve gameplay IMHO. My and my friend have played tens of thousands of games of H1 on XBC. We've tried again and again to play H2 on splitscreen, but it just isn't viable to us because of the smaller arc radius of view.

Oh, another thing. The person who made the thread about it months ago explained the view was changed because the new engine and graphics (for Halo 2) wouldn't allow a larger view very well because the XBox wasn't powerfull enough to draw that much more graphic detail in a larger aspect ratio. That makes sense to me because they had to trash the E3 demo because the XBox simply wouldn't be able to handle it. They had to in effect "dumb down" the graphics because the XBox couldn't run the graphics from the E3 demo. But, now that they have the 360 to work with, I'm hoping they'll go back to the old aspect ratio from Halo CE.
