I've challenged my beliefs. What is the book about?

I find that this is usually untrue. If religious people honestly, diligently and intelligently challenged their beliefs, there would be no religious people.

What kind of asplosions would you like to see in H3? I wanna see the return of the big ass frags, those made things a bit more, well, exciting. But the Halo 2 explosions made things a bit more balanced. perhaps if they kept halo 2s explosion damage with halo 1's power (ya know, explosion nearby, ground shakes, controller rumbles)

lol you're right. Thinking back I remember being 3 feet away from the blast and not suffering any damage at all. H1 explosions made the game less like some disney sci fi and more war like, even if I do like H2 better

edit: I mean, to the 1st reply

give H2 credit where its due. H1 frag throw physics were retarded, whereas H2 frag throws were waaaaaaaay more realistic. just play h1 then h2 and throw grenades. Youll see it.

Halo 1's .. they were more powerful, and if you were very careless with that rocket, you died, instead of getting away with firing it at near point blank range.

H1's also looked better for the most part in my opinion ... especially the needler explosion.

I'm willing to go back to H1 explosions, but please keep the H2 throwing trajectory.

this is kind of off topic, but i really hate the way grenades are thrown. i would like a Gears of War swinging style, instead of just aiming up.

Yeah, but even still they were kinda crappy. But I want Halo1 asplosions with Halo 2 trajectory, as that other guy said

Why not H3 explosions? Out with the old in with new?

"Your destruction is the will of the gods, and we are their instruments."

Halo 1 frags. You can balance them, by simply distributing less of them.

Even if you have a new game, you need something to build off of.

Halo 2's grenade throwing is completely unrealistic ... it goes further when you aim vertically up, instead of going furthest at 45 degrees.

The throw needs to be more powerful too grenades always seem to be thrown shorter than they should.

Heck No H1 throwing trahectory was waaaaaay better and made the game more fun instead of complaining about it. Besides what is up with the obsession with the sky when throwing grenades. I mean if I want to look up at the sky than I would step outside and look up at the sky. Never had to in H1 and it was so fun not having to lose track of your enemy when you threw a nade. Besides you really should get off the nintendo and play H1 more you will see a big difference from every other game(h2) to some game(H1) that actually sticks out from the crowd.

Halo 1 did many things better grpahically including grenade and needler explosions.

Also, I don't know why anyone would prefer Halo 2's grenade trajectory over Halo 1's. Halo 1 grenades were just plain more fun to use.

Halo 2 trajectory is more unrealistic. He is an enhanced cyborg. He's basically superhuman. He should be able to throw grenades way further than any human.

Either way, it's a video game. Real life shouldn't apply. It's about what is more fun not what's more realistic. If I buy a game I don't say well this game is more realistic so it is better.

What I liked about the Halo 2 frag was the timer. Having it start as soon as it hits an object rather than almost coming to a complete stop before starting.

i would like to see HALO 3 grenades. you know, something new, for an entirely new game. variable trajectory (longer you hold left trigger, further the throw). as for the actual damage, the halo 2 grenades post-update are just fine.
i'd just really like to be able to tap the L-trigger and drop a grenade or lob it just enough to bank it around a corner, versus one-throw-fits-all. i'm super cereal.
