"Somewhere in the heavens... they are waiting"

First off, I want to say that I had major surgery back in November, so for awhile prior to that up until about extremely recently, I hadn't been able to play Reach. I had Halo Waypoint on my phone however, and had been checking the challenges, when I noticed the new feature of custom challenges. I was excited to get to try it when I got back up to playing speed. I've read many topics, methods, Ect, on how to set this up properly, and I'm also aware that 343 realized what was happening and changed a few things...

Now to the reason I'm actually posting, I tried to make some credits on Thursday I think it was for the first time. Set up some challenges worth around 15-20k-ish if I recall for campaign. Now the timer lasts for three hours, so I had read to just keep earning kills, medals, whatever, and it will stack, or so people had seemed to imply. So if I set a challenge for 500 kills and I ended with say 3,800, then it would pay out credits times 7. Now with that considered with 5 challenges, I would have ended up with just over 200k. However, once the timers expired, I only got that 15-20k-ish.

So is that info not correct, or is it just not possible to earn lots of cR this way anymore? Or how is it properly done? Also, is there any way to just "replay", so to speak, a challenge or group of challenges, so you don't have to waste time resetting the exact same things up on that clunky interface?

The system doesn't work like that (unless 343 changed it). Anything that meets or exceeds the challenge requirement will net you the specified amount for cR when the challenge was created.

In addition, I don't think there's an easy to way to re-play challenges without having to remake them. I did hear of people on Se7ensins using a macro for creation and submitting, but I don't really know anything about that.

I think going over your goal doesn't give additional credits. You can turn in a challenge when you reach your goal, instead of waiting on the timer.
