This sig will Self-Destruct in 3.... 2.... 1.... Thank you for your time. Cookie?
When Reach was released, a couple of the Halo vets and a couple of sensible people came together and gave logical, reasonable discussion about why things like Bloom and No Bleedthrough were bad. While, at a glance, some people (like myself) could confuse it with whining and tell them to "adapt", but if the more intellectual of these individuals come together and give reasonable explanations as to why these elements are bad, they'll win some supporters (like myself) and be able to confuse devs to fix these in updates (like 343i did before).
When the TU was released, the new, whiny, CoD-esque fanbase from Reach's beginning started complaining that these new elements were "unfair" because it took skill to kill people again. Instead of asking the community why they just did a complete 180 and holding a simple poll asking people whether they'd want to reverse elements of the TU or not, they simply turn around and turn the game back into Vanilla Reach DESPITE THE FACT that we'd tried so hard to get a TU to fix all of the problems of Vanilla Reach.
tl;dr: 343i are fickle bastards. So much for Halo 4's future.
