What new vehicles should Bungie add to Halo 3?? I know there is a lot of people who want to fly pelicans or drive atv's for example. What else should be added????

Fuel Rod Spectre (match to Gauss Warthog)
Shadow (Troop Transport)
APC (Armoured Personel Carrier, human equal to Shadow)
Pelican (Troop and light+heavy vehicle transport)
Phantom (equal to Pelican)
Scarab (for big maps only, basically a land Battlecruiser)
Some-human-thing, if possible (human equal to Scarab)

Anyone interested in seeing the Albatross (the crashed plane from relic)?
I'd kinda like something else in the air besides a peli, although don't get me wrong, pelicans are god.
Maybe a longsword. That'd be pretty nice to see.

As we all know, Bungie is excellent at making games and coming up with ideas for weapons, maps, vehicles, etc. I love Halo: CE and Halo 2. I would just like to post some ideas and leave room for others to post. My main hope for Halo 3 is a very large selection of vehicles and maps to fit appropriately.
How amazing would it be to have a map maybe 2, 3, 4, 5 timeds as big as coagulation with gigantic bases and enormous air raids via pelican or phantom. Picture the three beeps as the game timer begins to count down. A short blue screen pause preludes you and your 15 team mates spawning in a large base armed with nothing but SMGs, two frags, and a flag to guard with five minutes to defend it. You and your team arm yourselves with the power weapons of your encampment and prepare for the assault on the flag. Time ticks by slowly in the silence until a faint engine hum can be heard. A rocket is fired and your team mate announces a double kill and destroyed warthog. There seems to be no activity, but suddenly a booming roar of a ship is heard and the ominous shape of a pelican can be seen in the distance.
It takes off at incredible speed and shouts from everywhere inside your base can be heard.The sound of gun blasts, rockets, grenades, and auto turrets, all aiming at the ship, erupt from throughout the area. In a split second the pelican is directly above your base and enemy spartans start to exit the ship and rain shots upon your heads. Many are dropped by sniper fire while the main focus stays on eliminating the ship. Finally after countless rockets and other means of destruction, the pelican busts into flames. The firey wreckage plummets hundreds of feet before exploding on the base, your team mates and you dying valiantly to protect the flag. As you spawn once more, you glance at the game timer, see 4:30 remaining, and prepare for another assault.

While every game might not be so amazing, the addition of gigantic ships would add an exciting element to the Halo universe. There could also be a level that was only a pelican. Enough shots could tear through the sides or the hangar could be opened to allow the option of death by falling. Any number of these could be implemented in Halo 3 and all would be done amazingly by Bungie.

Please leave comments on my ideas or post any other vehicular ideas you may have.

A human equivalent to the ghost would be nice = quad for example.

Vehicles that change your view to that of actually being inside the vehicle. One of the main advantages to being in a banshee for example is that you get a better view of EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE. This could be turned into a more balanced system by the fact that when you enter a vehicle you acquire the view from that vehicle. The current system works great but provides too much of an advantage to a person in a vehicle.

I love the idea of how although the ghost can hover, yet it can only reach a certain height above the ground. There should be a vehicle that can fly, yet can only reach a certain height, perhaps three to four times higher than that of the ghost, yet not high enough to compromise the benefits of the banshee. Incorperating vehicles of this nature would provide for some great ducking maneuvers as well as some nice battles between two of these vehicles. Perhaps this vehicle could be equipt with a secondary position for a passenger to shoot from like the side of the tank or warthog.
