I was thinking would it be possible to give custom avatars to B.net groups so that you have a group avatar and a B.net community avatar? I was thinking like the administrator of the group would have access to a photo album that they or anyone else with administrativce abilities could access. You can then upload a set amount of 90 by 90 images for thr group to use. Like news articles you could set who can actually see/use the avatar on the group. I think this would be a sweet feature that would add even more customization and importantly originality to the group. I'm not an expert on code but I'm fairly sure something like this could be implemented, the only problem I can think of is the stress on Bungies servers from all the pictures.
Thanks for listening!

though it could work, it would probably be a hassle to incorperate into the website. chances are Achronos (if he would do this) would have this on the bottom of his to do list. However, i'm not sure that member's can be trusted with custom avatar's even within chapters.

At least its contained in the chapter and a permaban would be given out if any objectional material were handed out.

Chairleg Productions presents: 'Console Wars' and 'Games as Art?' (also on Halo Waypoint).

The reason why we are not allowed custom avatars on the main forums is because people will undoubtedly upload and use "inappropriate" avatars. The same goes for this idea of allowing custom avatars in groups/chapters.

People would abuse the system and this will not be tolerated. Therefore i sincerely doubt this idea would ever be implemented even if it could be.

Stress isn't the main issue, though it is a problem. We have the reason that we don't have custom avitars already--pr0n. People, even group leaders, can be corrupt and don't mind ruining their reputation.

You want custom Avatars go to Red vs Blue. Take a look at whos online and now you see why we don't have any custom Avatars. Besides Bungie will like to keep Avatars on Bungie.net Bungie related. On Red vs Blue there is about 5% HAL0 Red vs Blue Avatars and 90% half naked women and anime pics, and 5% other stuff like photos of self ect...
