I don't think we are the Forerunners and hopefully Halo's story is not any thing like the second Matrix ) ; that one still hurts.

ok, i think that this is a legit thing to assume, but your poll only has 2 possibilities when there is a third part to add..... "could it lead to the ark", or is it "undecided" if you are really stiff, then put in "do we really care at this point"

and another thing, at the end of the announcement trailer, the object (not sayin ark cause we really dont know) activates and sends out a pulse through the clouds, for that it seems like it creates a beacon and shows you where the ark is. on the other hand, it makes a sound similar to a scarab blast, so in that light it may send out a message to the other rings to either activate or de-activate. either way, there are arguments for both.

this may be spam, but they are two different ideas, generally ppl post separate ideas in different places, and i think it really doesnt matter considering that it still has to do with the topic. so go criticize somewone who cares. and if you really want to be polite, send me a personal message and leave the attemt at embarrasment in you head, cause its not needed unless you prove someone wrong who needs it

It may be a part of the ark but it in itself is not the ark, many more of these things are seen on the underside of at least the halo mater chief petter officer spartan 117 was on in halo combat evolved so its design is not unique, and there may be more on the surface of the earth so i dont think its the ark at least on its own.
