Hey, guys and gals. I apologize in advance if this is a noob question, but I just got an xbox hardrive and have been reviewing game footage in the Halo Reach Theater. I've noticed on some replays that an opponent's reticle (the aiming circle or sight) won't line up with where his or her shot lands. In other words, his or her reticle will be pointing a few inches from a head or body, but will land a shot. Is this a lag effect? I also noticed in one game that I was pummeled by someone when I was a few feet to his left with him facing away from me, i.e. I didn't seem to be in his pummel zone, but it landed. All this leads me to ask, what am I seeing when I watch gameplay footage of someone else that I've recorded? Am I seeing my version, his or her version, a separate server version, etc?

A second, related, but probably also noob question, does Average Upstream Bandwidth affect gameplay? I've noticed that I seem to do better when the Upstream Bandwidth is Good. I've also noticed that I usually only detect the above anomalies when I'm playing at Average Upstream Bandwitdh. I found some discussions about the Warning issue, but didn't notice any on its gameplay effects, if any.

Again, apologies for the noob questions, and thanks in advance!

First question: Sounds like Bloom. and random bullet placement along with it.

Second question: No idea.

Clone is an internet God.

RC Clone is the anti-thesis of a lurker.

That's just from lag, because the game doesn't send the exact position of where other players are looking to your xbox.

It just sends enough for it to look right at a distance.

DMR + Sniper Rifle + Sprint= total demolish

Upstream bandwidth helps you get out of the game faster, if your's is average you will be a little bit slower in comparison to someone who has good. Basically, they get out of the game faster than you do. Mine says 'WARNING!' meaning that I will be one of the last people to come out of the loading screen, It's all about how many people use your network.
