Since some of us are desperately wanting an Iphone app for the Bungie forums, why not do this?

Tapatalk is an app that has hundreds of thousands of different forums. So to any Bungie employee reading this, why don't you register for this so us mobile phone users don't have to go through hell using the B.net site. It's free and doesn't mess with your traffic either.

Anyone else agree on this?

Anyone but Foman. He smells like cheese.

Looks like this app supports several off-the-shelf forum software applications, but you have to remember that Bungie.net's forums are custom-coded by Achronos, and likely not compatible with this app. If Bungie were to launch forum support directly for mobile platforms, it would most likely have to be a custom app.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

Although convenient, odds are it wouldn't work. You see, Bungie.net has custom forum software. Tapatalk only has about eight supported forum systems; namely, vBulletin, MyBB, IPBoard, Kunena, SMF, phpBB, XenForo, and bbPress.

Basically, it wouldn't work.

If you're looking for a mobile version of the forums, dazarobbo wrote a fantastic mobile forums system a while ago (can be found here). Unfortunately you can't post, but clicking the link on the bottom of any mobile page brings you to the equivalent page on Bungie.net. Hope this helped!

I forgot who owns the Call of Duty 3 forums, but I heard he custom codes the forums too and they're on the app.

That looks really, it has that unique Bungie forum look. Too bad you can't post and it's not an app.

I don't think so, man. A quick check confirms that several fansites are available on Tapatalk, but I don't see the official Infinity Ward forums listed on their site.

I'll try to link it, but I also see forums like IGN's official ones.

As said by others in this thread, Bungie.net uses vastly different forum software than what tapatalk supports. Its not just phpbb with some custom code, its a system designed just for this site.

[sarcastic]Well, if Achronos can come on over to this thread and expresses what he thinks, then that would be great.[/sarcastic]

It is possible IGN uses software supported by that app.
