If you're bad or not known, then your opinion is pretty worthless. However you're welcome to say whatever you want - you just have no credibility or backing for that opinion.

Which is what makes a good opinion.

The Internet is an empowerment tool that's agnostic; it doesn't care about race, gender, or age.

Alright man.

An argument/opinion typically carries more weight when it is accompanied by some form of credibility.

You said yourself that your stats are bad. Explain to me why I should take into consideration the points made by someone who has shown that they can't grasp the concepts of something enough to even be decent at it? Especially when those arguments are made in regards to issues like what does or doesn't make for good competition or game mechanics.

If you wanted advice on what's good for golf, would you give more credence to the words of tiger woods, or Charles barkley?

I never said a high k/d was more valid. I said a good or known player was more valid. It just so happens that all good players have a good k/d.

There are plenty of bad ones that do too.

Good players have more credibility. You are unknown, and have bad stats. You're bad, so you have no credibility. Your opinion is worthless, but you're welcome to spout it off. You'll just end up looking like the village idiot.

videogames attract both pro's and casuals, therefore casuals deserve a say, it's all about balancing the opinions and separating them.

The casuals getting their say is what has almost destroyed the halo franchise. Casuals can still enjoy competitive games - see all other halos. Competitive gamers do not enjoy casual games - see reach.

i'm a casual gamer but i want it to return to halo 3 standard, i never asked for aas or the dmr, in fact i'd rather they stuck with halo 3

  • 03.07.2012 9:57 AM PDT

You only lose the credibility of your opinion if you start saying retarded things like AAs were a good mechanic or anything like that.
