Subject: Would you still come to the forums if we had to pay a subscription?

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Please allow me to introduce Myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith

Simple enough, if the forums weren't free, would you still come here?

Say Bungie charged $5 a month to play on their forums. Would you still be here?

Xenoblade <3

Nope.

  • 03.07.2012 11:41 AM PDT

Absolutely ($5 isn't bad), but the idea is ridiculous.

  • 03.07.2012 11:41 AM PDT

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

No, mainly because I think that would be highly unethical.

Have you seen my mind anywhere? I seem to have lost it...

I have seen you future

Nope. Even if this place is fun now, as soon as people drop out for the completely reasonable reason of not wanting to pay to use a forum there would be next to no activity here, so it wouldn't be worth sticking around.

Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Try something a few thousand times, and your chances of success is exponentially increased; this increase would likely provide success every time

Knowing what I know now about The Community - absolutely; otherwise I wouldn't give it a second thought to find a different community to be a part of.

You guys, or us rather, are the best bundle of intellectual joy a person could ask for.

I will show my support to Bungie buying their games, not paying for a membership or Forums.

No.

Five dollars isn't too bad so maybe I would. However, I am leaning more towards the no side as I really wouldn't want to pay money just to use a websites forums.

  • 03.07.2012 11:51 AM PDT

It is hard to say. Maybe, but probably not.

I don't think forums should cost, especially forums that help Bungie get input for their next games and improving the site.

Hell no. Hell no. I don't have a way of income so I wouldn't be able to pay. If we had to start paying to use the forums, a lot of people would be s*** outta luck.

If that ever happened, for whatever reason Bungie comes up with, I'd go to another forum and post there.
