What a hipster.

My sensible side says no, but my fan-boy side says yes.

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

I do like Bungie.net, but I wouldn't pay to come here.

Agreed.

But I don't see a raisin why they would make us pay anyway.

No way, only if it was $5 a year, then maybe

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

This site lacks so many features. Why would I pay for sub par? I stay for the chicks.

I came for Halo, but I heard the Tru7h, fought thru Carnage, and stayed for Bungie.

After more thought, I would only pay if there was some sort of major update that gave us more features than we currently have.

  • 03.07.2012 5:16 PM PDT

Only if they let us create polls.

That 'ill be like $9 a month here in New Zealand, as great as the community is here, i'm not paying for it(i think my purchase of every halo game(plus re buying Ce and 2(plus Reach legendary)) is enough).

Hello, I'm Mr AwesomePizza. I like pizza and I'm a man. Reasoning for the name. I like to listen to the classics of music, write poetry, play video games, and much much more. I'm always down for a nice chat, so please hit me up for some conversation.

No, I don't see a point in paying for posting.

I lol'd at the absurd miscommunication that occurs whenever dibbs post something. Perhaps his brain is so highly evolved that he can no longer clearly communicate with lesser life forms, even among his own species.

It's a lot more ethical, and you'd be paying for perks. I'd imagine after 7 year Pay-to-poster would earn a custom avatar....
I still don't see how this conversation involves ethics.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Try something a few thousand times, and your chances of success is exponentially increased; this increase would likely provide success every time

It doesn't - that's what I was getting at, but Ken left....

Why would I pay a subscription to go to a place where developers hype their products. If their products are worth it I'll hang here, if their products are not worth it, I'm gone.

Hell no.

My Screenshots / My Group / Remember to follow the rules or you will get trapped in a box.

I would definetly not visit here. Bungie.net is nice but no that nice.

Citizens of Me! The cruelty of the old Pharaoh is a thing of the past. Let a whole new wave of cruelty wash over this lazy land.

Hear the word of Pharaoh. Build unto me a statue of ridiculous proportion. One billion cubits in height......that I might be remembered for all eternity!

And be quick about it!

Shut up Charlie, Achronos might get an idea!
