Subject: Would you pay monthly for a Bungie game?

Why should I have to pay more than once for a game I just bought.
Because servers cost money. It's clearly not just money for the sake of money of WoW would never have gotten off the ground.

OT: No more than 5-10 dollars a month. And that's only if it's an astonishingly expectation-exceeding game.

I understand nothing because my life is a conspiracy.

Naw . . . Unless it was cheap and a great game.

Games are already overpriced, we don't need more. Unless it's like 20 bucks or less.

It matters how amazing the game is and if the monthly pay is worth what gets added to the game monthly. But, every game that I can think of doesn't match these qualifications. So, most likely, I wouldn't be willing to pay monthly.

Not a chance in hell. I hate the concept of monthly payed video games, and I do not support it, even in the slightest bit. I don't even like the idea of Micro-transtactions, unless the game was free.

I don't care what game it is; I'm not paying monthly fees to play it.

If this is a game on Xbox (It is almost guaranteed to be, among others), then I am already paying for Xbox live. I would not pay an additional fee to play something else on XBL.

True, but remember Bungie is changing to multiplatform, they are not exclusive xbox anymore.

And I'm just like you guys, I wouldn't pay for a monthly fee no matter how good the game is.

Who the hell do you think I am?

NO

Please, never.

This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends;
Not with a bang but a whimper.

No, no, and again no. I love Bungie's games, but not enough for them to continuously drain my finances. They are not Micro$oft.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

70 bucks for live and 60 for a game...no way would I pay anything extra.

I like video games, Jesus, music, and love my girlfriend. :) PM me, we'll talk.

Depends if the game's worth it.

Mythical Group

There is no greater catharsis than arguing on the Flood.

You realize that if it had a subscription fee that's pretty much implying that it would be constantly updated, right? If so, I think Bungie could do brilliant work.

Yes, but i would be very angry!!

Does anyone have lotion?
*Raises hand*
Is mayonnaise a lotion?

Heeeck no. I'd rather stick with a one-time purchase game like Halo.

No. I already bought the game and I already pay to play it on Xbox Live, so I would think that an additional charge would be ridiculous.

No. Never. I don't even do that for any other game, let alone a Bungie game.

Live a little.

No. That would just make me dislike Bungie.

It honestly depends. If it was entertaining, and expansive, for say 5$ a month, of course!

  • 03.07.2012 5:54 PM PDT

Кланяються мені!

No. I already pay for Xbox Live, and if I have already paid for the game I would not pay to just to keep playing it.

I follow this belief fairly strictly. I don't own or even plan on playing WOW or similar titles for this reason.

5 dollars a month isn't that bad but there a lot of people out there who can't afford it.

Anyway, I don't know whether Bungie's next game will have a monthly fee (most likely won't) but that doesn't stop the retard Michael Pachter from talking about how Bungie is going to release a subscription based shooter. He says this is the reason why Activision is publishing their game and that Bungie can get away with releasing a game based on a subscription. This thread and its poll says otherwise.

No. I'm not paying more monthly fee things. I just want to buy a game, and play it. Not pay for it every month.
