Would you pay more to get a game before release date?
How much more would you be willing to pay, in relation to timescales?
Why? e.g. So you can enjoy the game earlier, to get ahead of friends etc.

I'm not sure what brought this question to mind - but I thought it might give some interesting answers.

throwning snowballs at cars is like doing a bell ditch. The end result is basically the same: sprinting away from the large man exiting his car who yells profanities, hiding behind a house, and watching as his car patrols the street, waiting to murder you.

Asking the flood for dating advice is like you going up to a bunch of starving Africans and debating the pros and cons of the bacon roll vs the double cheeseburger.

Some one who stands for nothing shall fall for everything.

Nope games are already overpriced.

Have you seen my mind anywhere? I seem to have lost it...

0x0 x0x 0x0 000 000 x0x 000
x0x 0x0 0x0 0xx 000 0x0 000
x0x x0x x00 0xx 0x0 x0x 0x0

I have seen you future

In the heat of fanboyism before a big release I would say yes, but in my logical non-pre-release state I wouldn't. Releases are exciting, but I wouldn't want to pay more just to get a game a couple days earlier.

Who the hell do you think I am?

Really depends how early I'd be getting it.

I acknowledge my user name is stupid. However, I promise I'm not.

Disclaimer: The latter is a lie.

Surely this belongs in The Flood?

But, yes I would pay more to get a game before it's release date (as long as I get it at least one month early). I'd be willing to pay twice as much for it, so I could leek information and get money (that is the hope, although, it would be difficult without any contacts).

Positive vibes.

In the past, I might have, but I honestly don't have the urge to play video games as much as I used to. So no.

And the Shadow fell upon the Land, and the World was riven stone from stone. The oceans fled, and the mountains were swallowed up, and the nations were scattered to the eight corners of the World. The moon was blood, and the sun was as ashes. The seas boiled, and the living envied the dead. All was shattered, and all but memory lost, and one memory above all others, of him who brought the Shadow and the Breaking of the World. And him they named Dragon.

Repost in the Flood :)
