Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,

Two things: A) BUNGiE left Halo to do bigger and better things namely their new IP. B) This belongs in the flood or Halo Forums so please have your discussion there.

My avatar finds your lack of faith in BUNGiE disturbing.

Deej, and others are here. They haven't left or won't.

They're just preparing for their next game.

Nope...

It's more like.. 10 years of constant challenge to make a game that draws player's interest to it.

As for the topic; no, Bungie didn't leave, they're missing in action.

Bungie was spun off from Microsoft. The deal was Bungie gets corporate independence and self-ownership of shares (less a small percentage Microsoft owns, IIRC), and Microsoft keeps Halo.

Bungie wasn't ousted, Bungie didn't "Sell Halo", as Microsoft owned the IP by virtue of owning Bungie.

Bungie gave it to 343i, so they could break away from Microsoft, and be their own independent game studio.

What? By failed to give the best game ever are you talking about Halo Reach?

Foman banned me for asking people to vote. DO NOT STOP VOTING!

Bungie will return with something even better. Until then, they work in darkness, screaming in pain when they see light.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Halo is their best game? Debatable

Having Halo being out of their control means we get to see a new creative univerese and exciting new stories. I am excited.

10 years making the same game series might get a little.... old...

Bungie didn't leave. They decided that they wanted to change some things around and go a different path so they handed off the series to 343i.

Right, Bungie became a Microsoft subsidiary that owned Halo, and Bungie's responsibility was to develop the games and coordinate canon with other Halo products.

When Bungie won independence, Microsoft kept Halo and reorganized the umbrella division (Halo Products support tem, I think Achronos called it) into 343.

So it's incorrect to say Bungie sold something it didn't officially own since 1999-2000. I just wish these drunk highschoolers would read before posting so we stop having these types of threads every week here and in the Flood.
